Most venues or promoters won't touch bands with little fanbase and this is why we have to risk manage to avoid going into debt. Thousands of promoters have lost homes or gone into serious debt because of bands requesting unrealistic fees to play an event where the overheads are high.

Each contract with different venues will differ and therefore your sales must cover costs. Therefore there is an element of risk if you book a band from out of town to play in your city with little or no exposure where fans of the music do not know the band. This is why we do a ticket policy, if the band can confirm they can sell a certain amount of tickets to cover their costs, we book them. This means they can sell their tickets to their fans and keep 100% profit of those sales. Signed bands have more pull which is why they can warrant a fee. In some cases we also operate on a door split.

When we started out, we did not pay bands because our contract and door deal was too high but we wanted to give the bands exposure but if they were good enough, we would put them on a bigger festival in the future. We changed our policy years back and we came up with the process that you see to the left and this ensures good risk management. All through the time of promotions, Ragebreed have always given opportunities for the smaller bands to perform venues to gain them promotion via our street/online team. Please note we have never done pay to play.

it was on 9th and 10th November as a 2 day indoor festival with signed headliners and unsigned bands also.

WE STARTED OUT HELPING OUT THE VENUES TO HOLDING EVENTS AND TOURS OF OUR OWN INCLUDING A 2 DAY FESTIVAL CALLED RAGEFEST UK

WHILE COVID IS STILL ON THE RISE, RAGEBREED WILL NOT BE PUTTING ON ANY LIVE EVENTS IN THE UK.

THE PAST

Ragebreed used to be called Fusion Promotions and we would help promote the rock and metal events The Charlotte in Leicester put on in the early years. We promoted events with bands such as Napalm Death, Kill II This, Skindred, In Me, Vacant Stare, Defenestration, King Prawn, Rachael Stamp, Ill Nino, My Ruin, Cathedral, Earthtone 9, Sugarcoma just to name a few.
BOOKING OUR OWN BANDS

We began to book our own bands and soon we were putting on events around the midlands including events at The Old Angel, Nottingham, Upstairs at The Garage in London and we even did Under The Earth UK Tours for Candlelight Bands and invested money into helping these bands break the UK from Europe. We have years of working from unsigned to signed artists all over the world.
